What evidence do I need to prove my case? In a domestic violence courtroom? Frequently, it is only a circumstance where you present what your perceptions were and what you heard, and what was said and what was done. This means that the testimony presented will be oral testimony, and that would be the only evidence presented to the court is your word.
It's important to understand that your word is good enough to prove a case of domestic violence, instead of having something that is clear to everyone and memorialized in a photograph. It may simply be that it's your word versus the other party's word.
